Prater2012 Thomas G. Prater, MD, FACS, received his medical degree from Washington University in St. Louis in 1983, and his Bachelor of Arts from Southern Methodist University in Dallas. He served his residency in ophthalmology from 1984-87 at Washington University School of Medicine and Barnes Hospital. Dr. Prater has been in practice in Springfield since 1987.
