Dr. Marla C. Smith Marla C. Smith, OD, received her optometry degree from the Michigan College of Optometry in 2000 and her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Michigan. She completed additional training in the treatment of ocular disease at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Huntington, WV. Before joining Mattax-Neu-Prater she was the attending optometrist at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Mt. Vernon, MO.
